Help
facilitate a better quality of life for people in Argentina when you volunteer
with our Public Health Program in Buenos Aires.
As a volunteer in Buenos Aires, you will be helping local residents who
cannot afford proper health care. You will also be learning about the
realities of the public health system in Argentina. Volunteers with our
Public Health Program will have the option of working in a project development
capacity or in a more hands-on environment in the field.
If you choose to work in the office of our partner organization, you will
be assisting in the development of vital community health projects. Your
work will include conducting research, writing, translating, participating
in fundraising efforts, assisting in event planning, creating communication
materials, and working on other media-centered projects. Volunteers opting
to work in the field will have the opportunity to help children who lack
basic nutrition and/or medical attention, children who are chronically
ill, and patients in a public hospital.
